During Dr. Szentirmai’s training at Denver Health and the University of Colorado Spine Center, he gained extensive experience in neurocritical care for brain and spinal cord injury patients as well as both minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. His training in the Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Colorado Hospital –one of the few centers in the United States with Fellowship training program in Neurocritical Care- allowed him to gather extensive experience over 7 years in the management of the critically ill neurosurgical patients.
